Feed baskets
Pick up a basket of fresh fruit and veggies at the gate and let the animals come to you. It's the fastest way to make a new friend — and they're very polite about it.

Pony rides
Saddle up for a gentle loop around the ranch — a first ride for the little ones and a favorite for the whole family. A signed waiver is required for everyone who rides.

Train rides
Climb aboard for a ride through the historic Vail Headquarters grounds. A slow, scenic lap that's part of the fun for kids and a welcome breather for grown-ups.

Between the animals there's open ground to explore, shady spots to regroup, and space for little legs to run. It's a working ranch — come slow down and stay a while.
